CDA to be remodeled as a service provider

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is introducing reforms enhancement performance its  Planning Wing. The CDA is reorienting itself as a service provider under directions from Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The CDA plans on cutting down redundant directorates, increase the number of town planners and technical experts and enhance building controls and enforcement. A plan has been proposed for a purpose-built customer services office in sector G-7 of Islamabad.

The CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed said that reforms in the Planning Wing, better salary packages, improved HR management and organizational remodeling will help improve services and in turn provide relief to citizens of Islamabad.
