CDA to initiate 11 development projects in May

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is expected to launch eleven uplift schemes worth Rs137,216,695 in the residential areas and tourist spots of the federal capital. 

As per the details, the project includes beautification of Srinagar Highway, development of park in sector I-16, I-14/1, I-14/2 and  I-14/4, landscaping of parks in sector D-12, construction of jogging track in green belt from Korang Road to sectors I-10 and I-11 and between sector F-11 and G-11, renovation of Rawal Lake View Park and the purchase of horticulture machinery for Peshawar Morr Interchange. 

According to details, the tenders for these uplift schemes will be opened in May after. The CDA Board has given the go-ahead for these projects and the funds will be released for it after the tender process has been completed. 

An official said that the rationale behind the development projects was the preservation and  beautification of the capital.
