LDA proposes flyover projects worth Rs4.17 billion for Lahore

Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has proposed construction of flyover projects worth Rs4.17 billion at Shahkam Chowk.

One of the proposed construction is a dual carriageway flyover at Shahkam Chowk. It stands at the cost of Rs1.92 billion. The second proposal is a three lane flyover at Shahkam Chowk with a cost of Rs2.25 billion. Both proposals have been prepared for the Annual Development Programme of the Punjab government, said LDA Vice Chairman SM Imran.

Widening and rehabilitation of Defence Road will be done at a cost of Rs850 million and while work on Jorray Pull and Allama Iqbal Bridge will be executed at a cost of Rs40 million.

The launch of new development projects will solve issues of traffic jams and long queues, said Imran.
