Punjab govt earmarks Rs131bn for ongoing projects

ISLAMABAD: In a meeting chaired by Chairman Planning and Development Board, the provincial government of Punjab has earmarked Rs131bn for the completion of various ongoing development projects in the province.

The funds have been earmarked for the completion of projects included in the Annual Development Programme (ADP) of FY 2021-2022.

According to the details, the meeting was informed that funds have been released for 3179 projects on the 1st July 2021.

Furthermore, it was also disclosed in the meeting that 96% of the projects at the District Development Committee (DDC) are in the final phase of completion.

Speaking on the occasion, the chairman ordered the relevant authorities to expedite the work on development projects.
