Rs52bn granted for developmental projects

LAHORE: Rs52 billion has been released by the government for multiple developmental projects, announced Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

The quality of work would not be compromised under any circumstances, as the pace of projects will be expedited on ADP schemes, and the correct utilisation of development budget will be ensured through scrutinized observation, he further added.

With timely utilization of funds, public-private partnership will be promoted, as it will be fundamental for attracting investment for different sectors.

While stressing on protecting the rights of the farmers to help them grow, it is equally essential that the public needs in its ADP are met, told by the CM, as he added that more funds will be provided for the development of the social sector.
