UAE and Pakistan to enhance bilateral trade

Faisalabad: While addressing a meeting of the textile exporters at the Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA), the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi said that Pakistan and UAE were heading towards greater economic cooperation.

He said, Pakistan’s textile exports hold significant potential with profitable business prospects and so more and more UAE investors were visiting Pakistan to explore and unlock business opportunities in multiple fields. He added that Expo 2020 happening in Dubai will be a great chance for businessmen from both countries to establish B2B contacts and cooperate in varied sectors to raise the revenue above $8.5 billion which was less than a quarter of the real potential.
